  • Produced and launched SheaMoisture’s 2022 global ‘Do You’ US Campaign that included digital content, KLV’s and 10 Tutorials. Assets performed above-benchmark, also rated in top 30% of memorability and action metrics.
  • Amplified ESPN Champion Black Business 3.0 and 4.0 impact by doing the following: Streamlined the program by applying critical lessons from past three years, deepen involvement of external partners and found right business partners. Outperformed objectives by delivering a 2022 Marcom Award with $29.4MM Linear impressions (+164% YOY.)

SVP, GROUP DIRECTOR – MANAGER —UNIVERSAL MCCANN— New York, New York— 2016 – 2022

  • Produced award-winning content with a eight-person studios team. Content strategy and execution creation included branded content, original programming, and Influencer campaigns which included Paid, Owned & Earned media.
  • Partnered with UM’s C-Suite executives 2020 and co-founded a new BIPOC Influencer agency entitled Mahogany under UM Worldwide. Goal was to bring equity and fairness to BIPOC Influencers across the US.
  • Appointed to Traverse, IPG Mediabrands Original programming development team authoring thought leadership and introducing new framework for movie deals. Clients included Johnson & Johnson, Neutrogena, and USPS.
  • Won the Gold UM Momentum Award for Sprite Campaign. My role: Developed and executed “Thirst For Yours” platform, leveraging hip-hop culture to inspire audience engagement and personal growth. Lead them team where we implemented multi-channel marketing strategy including TV spots, social media content, influencer partnerships, outdoor advertising, and experiential activations. 

INTERGRATED MARKETING CONSULTANTBET NETWORKS— New York, New York — 2014 – 2016

  • Developed an immersive female-focused beauty experience incorporating visual, digital, and experiential elements to engage, educate, and encourage consumer interaction featuring (fashion, hair and beauty.)
  • Strategized “Macy’s | Your Fragrance Destination” booth at Fashion & Beauty BETX, Featured fragrances such as Dior’s Miss Dior, J’adore, Flowerbomb. Campaign garnered a total of 14,715 impressions across BET, BET Experience and Macy’s.
  • Coordinated Korbel sponsorship moments included fashion show, branded bar and champagne toast. Toast included VIP guests and consumers. Guests included over 250+ guests.

360 CONSUMER MARKETING CONSULTANTBET NETWORKS — New York, New York – 2012 – 2014

  • Produced and executed comprehensive 360 end to end marketing campaigns (TV, print, digital (SEM), online, radio, trailer, integrated, social media) and custom event activations to drive tune in while supporting two departmental teams.
  • Managed BET’s Being Mary Jane’s original series and movie marketing campaigns that consisted of key art, radio, premiums, OOH, tour print assets which helped to deliver 4 million viewers for premiere and over 33MM viewers for the original series debut.

PARTNERSHIP MARKETING MANAGERVIACOM — New York, New York — 2005 – 2012

  • Strengthened a three-member cross-functional team that developed successful multi-platform promotions, concept development, tune-in initiatives, and acquisition/retention campaigns to support the MTV Networks, BET Networks and Nickelodeon initiatives. Responsibilities included client experiences, sweepstakes, tent-pole events, online promotions, tours and mobile programs. Knowledge in VOD and SVOD.
  • Innovated new Nickelodeon, Comcast, and the Nets experience for eight key games of the 2009/2010 basketball season in Kid’s Country, Nickelodeon-themed activities, highlighted Comcast’s brand. Experience touched approx. over 700,000 guests.
  • Collaborated with Sales team where we sold Local Ad Sales, Marketing, and Pro-Social packages for Slime Across America, contributing to a $1.5MM media value for 2008 tour

SPECIAL EVENTS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGERBET NETWORKS — Washington, DC — 2000-2005

  • Developed and coordinated BET Mega Special production elements for public affairs, consumer marketing and affiliate promotions teams.
  • Fostered daily operations that included internal department collaboration for project delivery, site inspections, budget management, third-party vendors, and the hire of freelancers.
  • Partnered cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency of all marketing materials and communications were delivered accurately and on time.

  • Provided administrative support to the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the overall and local PBS stations. Helped in the implementation of events to promote maximum donor growth nationally. Coordinated list pulls, mail merges, internal website update, database efforts and mailings.
